Enough about baby and I for a minute.....here's an ode to my baby's daddy!

Jeber is a great friend. He loves to watch Kung Fu Panda and other fun movies with a bunch of his friends all piled on his bed. (Notice the braided hair on the older cute girl---Jeber was nice enough to braid her hair before they watched the movie) Seriously, he is like a little friend magnet down on that bed when he is watching movies.

Jeber did a great job in the Easter Pageant again this year. There he is up on the cross in the yellow hoodie practicing to portray one of the theives that was on the cross next to Christ. I loved being able to watch him this year. It's not a lot of people who are willing to stand up on stage in a very little loin-cloth for thousands and thousands of people to see.

So....we bought a house, which for Jeber means working four long days a week out in the sun doing physically hard work then spending weekends working in our house. Here he is laying tile in one of our bathrooms.

And then add into the mix of long days at work and long weekends of work at our house an occasional side-job. Here he is laying tile at someone else's house. It's a good thing he has got such a handy-dandy and trusty assistant----ME!

In the faraway land that Jeber comes from, sewing machines are not used. Ughhh---sewing everything by hand. We bought this machine during the Black Friday sales and Jeber finally decided to teach himself to sew using a machine. He mended several pairs of his work pants that had tears and quite impressed himself with his new-found capabilities. (Silly boy--he put the sewing machine on a box on the ground and pushed the pedal with his knee. We might need to invest in a sewing table)

Jeber is going to be a great daddy. Any time this cute little thing comes around he loves to play with her, hold her, feed her, etc......What other guy do you know that actually wants to be around and take care of someone else's brand-new baby. (Will our baby look something like this?)

So in summary, I love me some Jeber! He is a loin-cloth wearing, hair-braiding, hard working, talented, handsome man who is good with babies and a sewing machine. (Too bad I don't have any pictures of him cooking recently cuz goodness----he's good at that too!)
