For my own personal record

What has been going on:
  • Baby has continued to move a lot. I like "playing" with him already, i.e. poking him and watching him make my tummy move
  • Multiple trips to the E.R.---kidney stones or just baby squishing my insides? I guess we'll never know
  • Missing the first four days of school (not really ideal when you are the teacher) due to above mentioned E.R. visits. Continous vomitting and loss of weight in the third trimester due to above mentioned issue.
  • Watching my tummy move in waves or feeling baby's hiccups (at least thats what I imagine they are)
  • Starting to cry in the check-out line at Costco because I saw a woman that reminded me of my mom
  • Telling my mom about the above scenario and her response "O dear, I am not even dead yet" which then led to my uncontrollable weeping and sobbing which I am pretty sure scared Jeber
  • When I was giving Jeber a hug, after a while he playfully said, "Okay, that's enough" and that also made me cry
  • Watching a stupid tv comedy which depicted a mom giving birth = me crying!.....I think you can see the pattern
  • Trying to get home organized and settled before baby arrives
  • Registering for baby stuff--made us realize that we pretty much have no idea what we are doing and how much a baby really costs
  • Freaking out about not being able to find a long-term sub that knows anything about orchestra
  • Jeber and I getting familiar with our new church callings: me--ward music chair, Jeber--ward missionary (I think now the ONLY music calling I have not had is primary chorister--and I am okay with missing out on that one)
  • In coming up with names for who to invite to a baby shower I realize that I am a pretty stinky friend--Jeber and I definitely don't get out much and I am apparently even more anti-social than ever before--life is just SO busy and hard to balance everything
  • Going to bed at 8PM and waking a little after 4AM everyday
  • Trying to get accustomed to a new school in addition to all of the changes at the old school
  • Receiving packages from Guatemala that include authentic and totally adorable Guatemalan sandals and outfits for baby, cloth diapers, a wrap thing to tie baby to your body, etc.
  • Seeing pictures of Jeber as a child for the first time----what a doll!!!!! (Of course seeing the pictures of little boy Jeber made me cry just a little bit as well) I think baby is in good luck--both of his parents were very good-looking kiddos! ( ;
  • More to come as I remember it.......that leads me to something else---I totally have pregnany brain. I feel so brain-dead and forgetful much of the time
