So this is what a real job is like?
Ok. So I have officially completed my third week of being a teacher. My first real job and I am not sure what my true feelings are about it yet except that I am very grateful for my husband who has been working to support our family by himself. I just don't like the feeling of being consumed by work. I go to work, come home and tell Jeber about work, do some more work to prepare for work the next day, think about work the whole night and morning until I go back to work and start the process all over again. How exhausting--not necessarily the teaching part, which is going ok, but the feeling of being consumed by work. I don't know if that makes sense. Anyway, I am getting an interesting experience splitting my days between junior high and elementary school. On one end, you have the kids who have major attitude or think they know it all but can also be really independent and actually be taught a lot. Then on the other end, you have the kids who are so excited to learn and so happy to be in your room with YOU, but can do almost nothing for themselves and come up with so many questions it's unbelievable. And this is what I was talking about. I come home from work only to talk about work and think about work. Now I am taking up blog space by blogging about work. Let me change to another subject. We have been very busy--with work : ), with a little play, with keeping up with house chores, and all of that stuff. I will have to post about Jeber's b-day celebration when i have the camera with me. I think I feel better now! THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY AND A THREE DAY WEEKEND!
