Two weeks later

Where in the world did the past two weeks ago?!  I yes, now I remember........it was spent in school.  *sigh*  So our New Years Eve was pretty low-key.  We went to a wedding reception Thursday night, wedding reception Friday during the day, and then Friday night we met up with my sisters and their families at my parents' house to play some card games.  The boys, including my dad, were out of town, J slept, Trevin played computer games with the little boys, so it was just Jeber and I, mom, and sisters playing games.  I still rock at Skip-Bo!  Jeber and I did take our little one with us for a few minutes to the apartment of some guys Jeber works with to eat authentic tamales.  Anyway, back to my mom's.....the clock struck 12, we said woo-hoo, finished playing the game, everyone left, and we spent the night.  Fast forward through the rest of the weekend, which is pretty much how it felt in real-life, and then Monday it was back to work. 

PJ turned three months old a few days ago and weighs in at 10 lbs 10 oz.  He is definitely getting chunkier, although he is still pretty small (not in length) compared to other babies his age.

He loves sucking on his hands and NOT his pacifier
Has started drinking some formula during the day since I don't pump enough
Loves playing with his best friend--grandma
Gives the best smiles
Has discovered his feet--will sometimes watch them and once or twice has grabbed one with his hand
Totally has a double-chin (just like his mom!  hahahaha)
Will watch tv
Can totally hold his head up by himself when sitting up
When he is partially reclined, he will work really hard to pull his head up so he is sitting up straight
Can still wear some of his newborn clothes and is finally starting to fit decently into some 0-3 months
Is doing awesome in his baths--no crying and so attentive
Opens his hands more and more out of fists.  He lets me open them when in the bath so I can wash them
Sleeping longer and longer at night, but still in our bed
Will sleep in his car seat and swing again
Will sleep in his little bed thing at grandmas--on his side
Has started playing with toys and is getting better at holding onto them
Loves to stare at and gives the biggest smiles to his dad
Likes to do his "exercises" and stretches with mom

He is so stinkin cute!!!!
