On the 2nd Friday in February, we decided to check out the "2nd Friday on Main Street" stuff that was going on. I saw that there was supposed to be swing dancing lessons and food and.......anyway, it was not quite what I expected. We walked up one side of Main Street and then down the other. There were artists camped out selling or demonstrating their stuff. There were random musicians performing. We decided to have a caricature drawn of sweetpea by one of the artists that was on a corner there. He was THE BEST model and sat so patiently while the artist drew him.
Besides all of the smokers (I shouldn't have been surprised with all of the artists and musicians), it was pretty fun just walking around, looking at interesting art, jewelry, performers, etc.
