I ended up not getting a summer job and so have been being pretty lazy. I have been getting things in our house more clean and organized but have been doing it very slowly. One of the things I have enjoyed doing is working on some home beautification projects. We don't live in our fantasy home, but we can still make it look nice. Someone gave this lamp to Jeber and it was a brassy copper color. A quick spray paint job and it looks great on our dust-covered piano.
I currently have an infatuation with decorating our home with our names and the letters of our names. Maybe I am going overboard but I thought these pillow slip-covers with letters on them made such a difference in how our couch looks.
Anyway, so this is one of the fun ways I have been celebrating not being in school. To see the full effect, you'll just have to come visit us at our house--we don't get many visitors : )
