We started the month by going to the park. Handsome wanted me to push him on the big swing for the first time so I put sister in the sand for the first time. She was fascinated with holding it and thankfully didn't try to eat it.
The girls of the family---my mom, sisters, and sis in laws---had a little girls night out for the first time. Princess even got to come with me. We went out to eat, got froyo and then went to Michael McLean's "Threads".
The kids and I met friends at the splash pad a couple times this week. Handsome likes being a little busy-body. On one of our visits there was a kid who was push-happy and randomly came up and was pushing little man. I was curious as to how he would react so sat back and observed. I was proud to watch him push back just enough to let the kid know he wasn't going to take his crap and to back off.
Baby doll started standing on her own quite a bit this week and has enough control to lower herself down to sitting slowly
