march

March

So at the beginning of March baby takes his first bath in a real bathtub.  He usually just showers with one or both of us because we were wanting to get a new tub, but I finally decided it was perfectly fine for him to take baths in the old tub.  He of course LOVES it and is so excited to get in the bath when I say that it's time.

He loves to line things up and organize.  Of course he has more fun playing with boxes of soap than with toys.

Jeber had his first Easter Pageant practice.  The whole season started with the Super Saturday all day rehearsal.  I knew we were going to be seeing less and less of him over the next few weeks so handsome and I decided to go spend the day with him.  Baby thought he was so big hanging out in the tent with his dad, eating watermelon.  A lot of the day was spent with Jeber taking baby onto stage with him, Jeber chasing after baby so he wouldn't fall off the stage or run onto stage, me trying to convince baby that I am fun too when all he wanted was his dad who was on stage without him, baby crying for his dad......

Super Saturday also kicked off my spring break.  Baby and I spent the week together at home, doing I don't remember what.  Baby discovers this backpack grandma gave him and falls in love.  He wants to have it on all the time and gets upset when he has to take it off to get buckled into his carseat.                                                                                  Sometime during this week, Jeber feels the baby move for the first time.                                                                                                          And then my spring break ended with another all-day Saturday rehearsal.  Little one and I didn't spend the whole day with dad---we just took him Pete's for lunch.
Jeber starts dress rehearsals and late nights while baby and I entertain each other.  Baby apparently thinks that jelly is hair gel and enjoys getting it all over!  Maybe this is his way of trying to tell me he wants a haircut.

So a haircut it is----this same day.
You can't see the haircut because he is wearing daddy's hat but he looks cute either way.  He LOVES to go to Costco with dad while I am at school.  Dad makes the best spots for him to sit and he likes to eat the samples.  Daddy and son bonding time:

We watched Saturday sessions of conference on the computer from our extra bed.  Baby listened but also did a lot of playing.  He entertained himself for a long time stacking these boxes of soap---I did mention that he likes to line things up and organize, right?

That night, baby and I went to Ladie's night at Deseret Book, chick-fil-a with my mom and sisters and kids, and then back to the temple to see daddy and take pictures with him.  We watched the pageant during one of the dress rehearsals the week before and it was hard to keep baby's attention--he just wanted to run up to the stage--so we didn't stay to watch this time.
I LOVE this picture!

See his handsome new haircut?  Oh my goodness!
